Battlefield Believers project underway
Research and writing has begun for a fictional storybook depicting two angels watching over a battle during the Civil War. As the fight progresses, each observer will be flashing back to other great battles that they have witnessed over the course of history. As the main setting takes place in the Southern U.S., the first flashback will recall events from the Revolutionary War. (As it is very possible that the same ground could have witnessed clashes from both conflicts.) Later, they will reflect on the fall of the Romans. Christian artist Vicki Talley McCollum has partnered with myself for this endeavor. She is blessed with an amazing talent in a variety of different mediums and will be providing pen and ink illustrations for the wide-format book, which will be published as a joint venture. Draft copy of the Introduction is now available on the Pinstripe Press website under: In The Works. A PDF of the opening spread will be posted in the near future.

Welcome to the new Pinstripe Press Blog
With so many projects going on (as well as the need to read my own words) I finally decided to get in-line, on-line, and create a Blogging section for the Pinstripe Press. Please check back often as I will be sharing my opinions and insights about topics including Civil War History, Battlefield Preservation, Christianity, and America's National Pastime. Special announcements on books, articles, reviews and more will also be posted.
